Scope and editorial method
About this reading list
A source-backed guide to a research area, maintained alongside its original demonstration.
This hub is curated by Yuntian Deng, a coauthor of Neural Linguistic Steganography (Ziegler, Deng, and Rush, 2019). It connects the original work to earlier neural approaches, subsequent coding and reliability methods, and related research on watermarking and communication between agents.
How papers are selected
The collection emphasizes primary sources with a clear methodological or documented citation relationship. It is a selected bibliography rather than a complete survey or a ranking. Each entry distinguishes its contribution, relationship, and scope. Relationships inferred from shared technical ideas are described as such; explicit extensions are identified from the paper itself.
Dates and versions
First public dates and publication dates answer different questions. Where an arXiv history and a proceedings or journal record both exist, they are linked and exported separately. A year or month is retained when the primary source does not give a more precise publication date. The original paper first appeared on arXiv on September 3, 2019 and was published at EMNLP-IJCNLP in November 2019.
What the downloads contain
HTML, Markdown, structured paper records, BibTeX, and CSL-JSON are generated from a shared bibliography. Structured metadata describes the same authors, papers, dates, and contributions visible on the page. Machine-readable files provide alternative access to the same research content and source links.
The original work and demo
Zachary M. Ziegler* and Yuntian Deng* contributed equally to Neural Linguistic Steganography, with Alexander M. Rush. STEGASURAS is the accompanying interactive demo. Research pages are static and can be read without running the model.
